VyuMee Ltd
Founding Creator programme

Privacy notice

Version 1.1 · Effective 17 September 2026 · Last updated 17 September 2026

Scope: Founding Creator pre-launch expression-of-interest and recruitment.

This notice explains how VyuMee Ltd uses personal information submitted through the Founding Creator expression-of-interest form. It is a focused notice for this pre-launch programme and does not replace the wider VyuMee platform privacy information that will apply if you later create an account.

Who is responsible for your information?

VyuMee Ltd, company number 17439372, is the controller of the personal information collected through this form. VyuMee Ltd is registered in England and Wales and its registered office is 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF.

For questions or requests relating to this Founding Creator process, contact creators@vyumee.co.uk. Dedicated platform-wide privacy contact routes will be published before public account launch.

What we collect

  • Your creator/public name, contact email and country.
  • The creator platforms and profile links you choose to provide.
  • Your content category, approximate audience band and whether you currently monetise your audience.
  • Your confirmation that you are at least 18 and have read this notice.
  • If relevant, whether your creator business involves age-restricted 18+ content, so we can route the enquiry through the correct web-only compliance process.
  • Acquisition information such as campaign, referral or prospect identifiers and the referring page that brought you to the form.
  • Your optional consent preference for VyuMee creator news and launch marketing.

We do not ask you to provide information about your sexual orientation, private sex life, health, religion, ethnicity or other special-category personal data in this form. Please do not include that information in profile links or free-text fields solely for this application.

What you need to provide

Fields marked as required are needed so VyuMee can assess and respond to your expression of interest. Optional fields, including marketing consent, are not required for consideration. If you do not provide the required information, VyuMee may be unable to assess the expression of interest or contact you about it.

Why we use it

  • To receive and assess your expression of interest in the Founding Creator programme.
  • To contact you about eligibility, programme information and possible onboarding.
  • To understand which recruitment channels, campaigns and referrals are producing suitable creator interest.
  • To prevent duplicate, automated or abusive submissions and operate the programme securely.
  • If you separately opt in, to send creator news, launch updates and future creator opportunities.

Our lawful bases

We process the information needed to consider and respond to your request because it is necessary to take steps at your request before potentially entering into a creator relationship with VyuMee, and because VyuMee has legitimate interests in operating, securing and measuring its creator recruitment programme. Optional creator marketing is based on your consent and is kept separate from the expression-of-interest decision.

Who can access it?

Access is limited to VyuMee personnel and service providers who need the information to operate the creator recruitment process, host VyuMee systems, maintain security or provide professional support. The interest records are not made available to ordinary VyuMee users through the public app database.

International processing

Some technology or professional service providers may process personal information outside the UK. Where an international transfer requires additional safeguards, VyuMee will use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate contractual or organisational safeguards.

How long we keep it

If you are not selected or the conversation does not progress, we currently intend to keep the expression-of-interest record for up to 12 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a shorter or longer period is required for legal, security or dispute purposes. If you become a VyuMee creator, relevant information may instead become part of your creator/account relationship and be handled under the applicable platform privacy information. A limited suppression record may be retained where necessary to respect an opt-out or do-not-contact request.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information. You can withdraw optional marketing consent at any time without affecting how we assessed your original expression of interest.

Your right to object

Where VyuMee relies on legitimate interests, you can object to that processing in circumstances provided by data-protection law. You can also object at any time to the use of your personal information for direct marketing.

Automated decisions

VyuMee does not make Founding Creator acceptance decisions solely by automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Automated controls may be used to detect spam, duplicate or abusive submissions, but creator acceptance remains subject to VyuMee review.

Complaints

If you have a concern, contact VyuMee first using the details above so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
